About

A no-named orphan who always thinking being alone is the only way of live. With the power of manipulating earth on her side, Kalina build her wall just for herself, only her can climb or destroy it.

Personality

Kalina is most viewed as a mysterious, mature woman; who caring about her family and friends. But she always keeping a tall wall around her and never let anyone climb or went through it. No ones really knows why she was like that, even when she's still with her parents. But anyone knows that she's always putting up the wall when she smiles.

A Little Origin Story

She was found in the middle of cold winter, by the soon-to-be young Duchess Alexandra Nikolaevna, while she's on the way to the art supplies. The young duchess only raised her for 3 months before she gave the baby to a childless couple, who seemed had a connection with the duchess. But before they took the baby, Duchess Alexandra named the baby as a memento.

Kalina Nikolaevna

With her new family, Kalina seemed didn't have any struggle living. She helped her parents making clay vases, as the clay was easy for her to handle for some reason. All is well except for one. Socializing could be hard when you had such peculiar look, added with the unfamiliarity between Kalina and her parents. But despite all of that, she truly love them.

A Somewhat Revelation

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? Another daughter of mine scattered from across the world? Oh, and you smells like him too."

Kalina was 17 when got revealed that her blood parent was the Roman God Ceres herself. The first and last meeting with her left a big impact on her life. Though Ceres herself didn't gave any closure who Kalina father was, but she told that he was Janus' descendants, explaining why she 'smells' like him. Before her mother disappeared, she told Kalina that she had a great power on her and to used it wisely, because she won't be around if Kalina is in danger. And she didn't told her power in details but she would wield a little ability of Janus himself.

"Oh, one more thing. I will give you something in case you need it. That place will shows up only for you, and the people you allow to get in. As long as you don't allow it, it will remain concealed. Your journey will be hard after this, take care, my child."

The Day When Everything Disappeared

It was a long night, her family quiver in fear. That time, Siberian was not good place to live, but it was the only option at the time. The authority of her home had several fight with the Russia, and that day was the last straw.

Many of Kalina's neighbors and friends missing or the worst, died. Her family was hiding into the safety, but it wasn't enough. Some soldiers spotted them and trying to kill them. Kalina's father tried to hold them off while she ran with her mother. Few soldiers followed them down, made both of them deciding a very difficult decision.

"My dear, you need to get in to this coffin. I already made a special talisman to protect you, no one could open and destroy the coffin unless you decided to open it.

Please live on, 小苹果."

As the soldiers reach for their place, her mother shoved her down to the coffin and closed itself. She heard several thud around the coffin, made the lass scares to do anything. She had one wish, before closing her eyes.

"Please, stop the time for me."

And Then...

It felt like an eternity, the second she opened her eyes. With a gentle push, Kalina finally went to the outside world.

Everything has changed, the buildings were different, the era was different. It's not just the era, the world felt different as if she went through to the new world. Kalina was confused, she didn't even know where she was. She wanted to leave but she had nowhere to run. Then something unexpected happened before her eyes. She's immediately remembered what Ceres said to her.

A floating palace in the sky, just appeared behind the clouds. When she took a step out of the coffin, the earth shaking, a stone table flying in front of her then floating just a few inches from her feet. Took a step and standing on the stone, another one showed. She's understand, it would made a stair to the palace. Without a doubt, Kalina went up to that place and never come back before she's ready.

And when she's ready to came down, Kalina now known as the potter maker who has a mysterious smile. Everyone knows how expensive and meticulous all of her works. She have some enemies in her works for sure, but she always shows a smile to make then not rest easy.

Abilities

Earth Manipulation.

As the daughter of Ceres, she has several abilities to control earth element at her will. For example:

— Manipulating and control the earth element itself.

She's more a pacifist than a warrior, but when in danger, Kalina can materialize and dematerialize any earth objects, like dirt or rocks. She's also can move the earth around her at her will, including elevate them without her physically move it.

— Defense Layer.

She can make a curtain with dust and rocks to protect her from any projectiles that being thrown at her. Though it would be less effective if the opponent used big projectile such as cannon.

— Earth Plate

The more effective version than Defense layer. Can tank more damage until the plate itself crack.

— Quake

Her ultimate move, splitting ground or buildings into two or multiple pieces and let the enemies swallowed by the earth.

Time Manipulation

As the descendants of Janus, Kalina had one of the abilities from him. The time manipulation itself is very tricky to use. But all she knows that it apply to herself mostly. She could stop everything around her for a good five seconds. When she took a deep slumber, her time stopped completely, leaving her with her last appearance before she woke up.

Note: All the power above, excluding the time manipulation, are limited to tier 8-A.

Weakness

— The Quake probably the most dangerous move that she has. She could only use it once per fight, and after the fight she need a good rest for at least two weeks, as she recovered her depleted energy.

— She can't use her attack and defense at the same time. Her way of defense is completely covered and not letting anything pass through, so no way in and no way out.

— The Earth Plate has limited heights, she's only could raised the plate twice her height.

— The Earth Manipulation abilities was including moving the tectonic plates, but it far too great for her, it should be her mother's authority, not hers.

— The Quake affected her front approximately 3 kilometers from her in a straight line, not around her.

— The Time Manipulation mostly works on herself, like preventing aging or reverse wound. If she use it to stop the time, she can only stop it for five seconds, no more than that. On top of that, her movement would be slower while the time stop.
